Earth Sheltered Extension to House, Sheffield
This is an extension with a difference, it's partly buried in the ground and has a grass roof.
Steel fibres were used in the concrete to supplement and help reduce the amount of steel reinforcement required on the retaining walls, saving time and reducing costs. The client on this project was also the Architect.
